Decided to use a newspaper instead of a sketchbook as the format for presenting my research.
You may think it's relevant as the subject of my research is 'reportage'.
(However your opinion may change slightly upon the realisation that I am an impoverished student... A3 sketchbook £6.50 vs 'Britain's first and only concise quality newspaper' 20p.)
As you can see i've improved its appearance using Brusho, permanent marker and masking tape...
(lots of masking tape.)
This, as you may already have guessed, is where the magic was happening...
.So this research consists of :
- Artists name
- location
- Agent
- Quotation from the artist
- An optimistic attempt by myself to translate my reportage sketches into their style. Hoping to better understand their various working processes. - In homage.. please don't sue me
.

- "I love typography and use is as an element of design and content, mostly handmade or as a collage. It is very important for me to do manual work because it's the only way I can really connect to the creative process."

- "My work is based entirely on travelling, reportage and the location of drawing the more obscure the subject the better it is."
